Comprehensive ADHD and/or Learning Disorder Testing

  • Costs vary based on the specific service:

    • Comprehensive ADHD Testing with Learning Disability Testing: $1,500. Available for ages 6+, includes a thorough examination of social-emotional/behavioral difficulties, adhd, cognitive testing, and testing to determine learning disorders (in math, written expression, or reading/dyslexia).

    • This is appropriate for all individuals under the age of 18 and adults who are concerned about learning disabilities (math, reading, or writing).

    • ADHD Testing for Adults (18+) without Learning Disability Concerns: $1,200

      • This includes a brief cognitive screening and information on differential diagnoses (e.g., anxiety, depression). This option is not ideal for children given that learning disorder assessment is important during the gradeschool years.

Please visit our "Autism Testing" Page for pricing/information regarding Autism Testing

    • Depending on the testing results, we can provide additional paperwork (for example, FMLA paperwork or disability paperwork) at our hourly rate of 180$/hr, prorated depending on time to complete

  • Comprehensive ADHD and Learning Disorder Assessments

Our assessments provide a thorough evaluation of your strengths and challenges. The process includes the following components:

    1. Clinical Interview: An in-depth discussion to gather personal insights.

    2. Collateral Information: Input from individuals who know you well.

    3. In-Person Testing: This includes:

      • Evaluation of executive functioning

      • Memory assessment

      • Attention evaluation

      • Social-emotional assessment

      • Personality testing

      • Academic testing (depending on type of testing)

      • Self-report checklists

    Assessment Timeline

    • Duration: The assessment process typically spans 1 to 2 days, averaging 5-6 hours.

    • Initial Testing: The first in-person session will be conducted at our Gainesville, FL office and will last approximately 3-4 hours.

    • Follow-Up: Additional information may be gathered via telehealth.

    Reporting and Feedback

Upon completion of the assessment, a formal report will be prepared, detailing relevant diagnoses and recommendations. We will schedule a one-hour feedback appointment to discuss the findings.

    Pre-Assessment Requirements

Please complete some preliminary paperwork before the initial meeting to streamline the process.

If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to reach out.

    • Feedback Session: Available in-person or virtually.

MCAT/LSAT/SAT/GRE/ DAT Accommodations

  • Pricing Information for Testing Services

Pricing varies for the MCAT and LSAT due to different processes involved. During a consultation, we can discuss the necessary follow-up testing and associated costs.

    Common Services Offered:

    • MCAT Documentation: If you have recent psychological testing results and only need documentation for accommodations, the fee is $350.

    • Previous ADHD/Learning Disability Diagnosis:

      • If you can provide documentation of a prior diagnosis, the cost ranges from $350 to $2,000. Note that MCAT reports require testing to be completed within the last six months. Full testing and formal reports cost $2,000.

    • LSAT Accommodations:

      • Testing does not need to be recent. If diagnosed within the last three years, we can update your testing and complete accommodation forms for $350 to $850, depending on the extent of updates needed.

    • New Diagnoses: If you have never been diagnosed with ADHD or a learning disability, we recommend starting with comprehensive testing to clarify your diagnosis.

    • GRE Accommodations:

      • If you have a formal ADHD/learning disability diagnosis and can provide documentation, a consultation will be necessary to discuss how your symptoms affect you, with a service fee of $350.

      • If you do not have a formal diagnosis, you must complete ADHD testing first, which costs $1,500. This includes cognitive and achievement testing. Afterward, we can provide a letter at a reduced fee.

If you have any questions or need further information, please feel free to reach out.

  • The process will look different depending on your need.

If you have recent testing results within the last 6 months, the process will include an hour long clinical interview with you to discuss areas of impact, a review of former test results, and us writing you documentation to submit. This process will be much faster.

If you do not have updated testing, we will need to first complete a comprehensive testing appointment to diagnose learning disabilities/ADHD/test anxiety/etc. and explain how those symptoms impair your executive functioning, and document clearly why you would benefit from accomodations.

Note: We can not guarantee all documents will be accepted by the MCAT/LSAT review committee. The final decision is left to the committee, and is ultimately out of our control. In an effort to support you, if a report is rejected, we are willing to edit the report for no cost, one time, for resubmission (within a 6 month time period). We tailor our reports and write-ups closely to the guidelines provided by the MCAT/LSAT accommodations requirements.

  • We typically require at least one in-person day for testing. However, if you are seeking:

    • LSAT Testing: Documentation from within the last year may allow us to complete the process virtually.

    • MCAT Testing: Testing results from within the last six months may also enable a virtual process.

We can discuss the specifics during our consultation appointment.

  • Per CollegeBoard: Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), 504 plans, and doctor's notes are usually not sufficient by themselves. Each request must be supported by documentation, including appropriate academic and diagnostic test scores.

BRIEF ADHD Screening (no formal diagnosis)

  • Brief ADHD Screening Overview

    Cost: $600

    Included Services:

    • Clinical interview

    • Self-report forms

    • Behavioral assessment

    Purpose:
This brief screening does not result in a formal diagnosis but helps determine if comprehensive testing is warranted or if other factors may explain attentional difficulties.

    Credit Towards Comprehensive Evaluation:
The cost of this brief screening can be applied toward a comprehensive evaluation.

    Feedback Session:
You will receive a brief letter summarizing the findings in a 30-minute feedback session. This may be sufficient for accommodations at some schools, though some providers may require a formal diagnosis.

    Limitations:

    • This service does not provide a comprehensive report; that is included in the comprehensive ADHD testing.

    • This screening does not include Learning Disorder testing.

This process can be beneficial for individuals seeking to understand their executive functioning difficulties without pursuing a formal diagnosis.

  • This process requires you to fill out several forms in advance (estimated 30-60 minutes of your time) and share them with me in our meeting. We will meet for 3-4 hours and discuss your history, areas of difficulty, and you will also take a behavioral assessment that provides some more data about you. Then I will spend some time interpreting the results and will put together a brief letter detailing the areas of difficulty and recommendations (whether further testing for a formal ADHD diagnosis would be helpful based on results and some recommendations on coping with executive functioning difficulty).

If you choose to complete a comprehensive testing, the cost of this meeting will go toward the Comprehensive appt. We will determine if testing should include Learning Disorder, Autism testing or just ADHD Testing and then schedule a second day. After completing a comprehensive, you would attend an hour feedback session and be provided a formal report (generally 10-12 pages) with recommendations, diagnosis, and strengths that you can build off of.

  • This service, unlike our Comprehensive ADHD testing, may be in person or virtual. If you decide to complete a comprehensive evaluation, we will need to meet for an in person session on our second meeting.
